What We Will Do
We aim to provide a home where liberals and progressives can share their principles and values. We intend to counter the Right Wing's arrogant dominance of American political life with a fairer and more caring vision of America, its people and our place in the world. We will do this with a well conceived plan for action.
2009 Action Plan
Progressive Democrats for Delaware will work with Democracy for America, the Delaware Democratic Party and other progressive groups to aggressively pursue our objectives as follows:
Supporting expansion of the Delaware Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) to include the General Assembly
Furthering renewable energy in Delaware
Defining progressive values and framing them in a winning message
Concrete, practical action in preference to discussion and debate
Making progressive voices heard in the Delaware Democratic Party
Recruiting and supporting viable progressive candidates for the General Assembly.
Working with other organizations to support a Delaware Progressive Coalition
